Vivaro Roatan is privately owned and managed.  We strive to provide many amenities and services that the larger property managers on Roatan cannot.  We have three dedicated employees who help us keep the standards of each property very high.  We know our properties will often be at the higher price point of the properties you are choosing between.  It is with reason.  We are happy to answer any questions about the house or the island.  We are willing to help you decide which property on Roatan best fits your budget and group, whether it is Vivaro Roatan or another.  Most important to us is that you love Roatan and have a fantastic vacation.

While Roatan is a relatively small island, distances are further than they seem because the roads are small, curvy and sometimes steep. West Bay and West End are where most people choose to stay. West Bay is a beautiful beach with larger resorts and receives the most cruise ship visitors. West End is a small village with a beautiful beach on Half Moon Bay, lots of great bars and restaurants, dive shops, snorkeling, access to water taxi's and fishing boats.

All three Vivaro houses are well located in the heart of West End.  The North and South West End Houses are walking distance to everything.  You will enjoy your own oceanfront paradise at the quiet end of West End Road. The waves break just a few feet from the infinity edge of the pool.  Vivaro - Beachfront is also very close, a 5 minute drive, but a rental car is suggested as the walk is on the main road and not suggested. You can also arrange water taxis to pick you up at our dock.

When comparing homes and locations, please realize that, for instance, Sandy Bay is not walking distance to very many spots and is a more local community with cars driving on the beach. The homes between West End and West Bay can seem well located on a map but the walk to either town along the shoreline is not easy and not suggested at night and the drive is up or down very steep hills. The main road to West Bay is often in bad condition (fingers crossed it is fixed someday).  The road from the airport to West End and both of our homes is maintained and usually in better shape. All three Vivaro properties offer a peaceful, private location while also allowing your group great proximity to all the activities Roatan has to offer.

Other things that make Vivaro stand out on Roatan:

-  Backup power

- Whole House Water Filtration

-  UV filtered Water at the kitchen sink and ice maker

-  full time housecleaner

-  full time gardener

-  full time manager/concierge dedicated only to Vivaro Roatan

-  involved owner's dedicated to ongoing maintenance and keeping the property at a very high standard.

A note about vacation rental service fees:

More and more sites are charging a service fee to you, the traveler. As a former frequent VRBO user myself, I do not want to pay an extra 6 – 20% to VRBO/HOMEAWAY/FLIPKEY/AIRBNB for providing just a go between service. Booking directly with the owner of a rated property takes out the middle man. If something needs attention at the house, something breaks, or you have a problem calling Homeaway’s/Flipkey/Expedia’s 800 number from Roatan will accomplish nothing. As owners and managers, we can and will respond as quickly as possible to every issue. We have contacts to fix a broken AC, an appliance and more importantly medical care if needed.

A better option than service fee is your own travel insurance. Get a quote from travelex at the link below. Then for personal assistance contact
